America Today

so on sunday as some of you may know, my dad enlisted me for yardwork ALL DAY. ugh i couldnt go anywhere. w/e. so in the morning (when we should've gone to church) i was sitting on the couch like the lazy-ass i am and was flipping through the channels. i came across this show called liberty's kids. its supposed to be a kids show, but i was instantly intrigued because it inovled the revolutionary war.
so im sitting watching it and the years 1787. franklin and the continental congress are drafting the constitution and i watched them with the bicameral legislature compromise and all that. after you got past the annoying journalists, you really see some meat to this "kids show"
that really got me thinking. what would ben franklin think of america if he saw it today? would george washington smile at george bush's job. i think that our founding fathers would be disgusted with america today. after all, we're letting in illegals from across the border AND GIVING THEM FREE CITIZENSHIP. we are killing our children, but don't worry, its legal cuz its called ABORTION. and guess waht, homosexuals are getting married and getting legal rights claiming their pseud-marriage to be MARRIAGE!!!1 it makes me so so pissed. one of my mentors, mr safranski, said that every civilization is going to end sooner or later. i know america will end sometime in our lifetimes. his prediction was 50 years. i give it 75.
look at all the times in history that nearly destroyed this nation. off the top of my head: war of 1812, civil war, great depression, and possibly wwii. the closest was the civil war naturally. if i could choose a time in history to live in, i would probably live in 2250 BC egypt, 1050 AD britain or syria (so i could be a holy islamic or christian fighter during the crusades) or 1860 so i could fight in the civil war. i digress. i think america is losing its way. the purpose of this post was to point out a few problems. next blog, i'll propose some solutions. stay tuned!
