bad news bears

great movie. saw it yesterday with my dawgs from lv. my review: the acting was great on buttermakers character. billy bob thornton = great. he just has that personality needed for the character. the kids did a good job with their roles on the most part. the music was ok at best. the plot overall was awesome. im not the best reviewer cuz i love baseball, but i loved the baseball plot and even buttermakers' sideplots were good. haha bo peep's gentelemans club was their sponsor. great stuff. all in all id give it a 4 out of 5 stars and recommend it to anyone who loves baseball/comedies/hot cheerleader floozies.

ok that table paste was incredibly krappy. heres a link to a better pic of ithttp://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog&pop=1 those are the quiz standings. jim is the only one beating me. im number 2 in front of a bunch of people i dont no. Greg2 is greg go. fadsdgs is fadi sumthin, and JFman00 is john fabros, haha crazy kid but very kool. pretty interesting how the US history teacher and i are top 2 this time. over the course of the year ive been neck and neck with him in this and i havent been to college yet
im not quite sure y i brought this up. maybe i just wanted to brag. maybe im just bored. most likely cuz i dont have much to say rite now. i babysat my cuzs today from 8:30 to 3:30. gaaah. need i say more? after that i came home and rested, watched a cupla simpsons episodes and went back to my blog. i get the feeling that a lot more of our teachers are gonna be blog orientated and use a heck of a lot more technology in our classes throughout this high skewl experience. at least they better. i hate textbooks. give me the internet anyday.

dang its hot

title says it all. 103 degrees?!?!?! yeesh this is illinois not texas. didnt do much today except sum hard labor in da backyard. of all days my dad wants to cut bushes down....
made sum layout changes on myspace, comment bout wut u think. i got 61 friends :D. and i posted my first bulletin. yes!
im pretty sure that ive got a job at the library now, but i'll get a phone call tomorrow confirming/defirming it. i shuld get the job cuz i did a great job (in my opinion) at the interview and the book shelving test with it. plus, i know the librarians there from volunteering. if i get it, i'll get paid 7.65 an hour for shelving books and videos and all that krap. boring job but pay is pay. i wish i had an earlier bday, then i culd work at bestbuy. if i did work there, id probably want the TV or computer section, preferably computer.
goin golfin tomorrow on boughton ridge. it better be cooler. haha last time i went golfin, i left my sand wedge on the 6th hole and i didnt realize it til hole 9. i had to run across the golf course to go get it and run back. wish i had my pedometer to see the distance lol. i need to get different picture up. and maybe i'll put a picture of my dog up lol.

random krap

yea ive been meaning to do this for a while. on tuesday i told myself i wuld type up my post in a few minutes. that turned into a few days.
anywayz, i saw charlie and the chocolate factory on tuesday. pretty good movie. depp did an ok job with wonka. i would hafta say wilder did a better job in the first movie, but overall this one was great. the casting was great for mike teavee and grandpa joe. the songs weren't as good as the original. willy wonka willy wonka the amazing choclatear was probably the best song. oompa loompa doompadeedoo was pretty catchy. the songs in this movie weren't that good. the parts about wonkas past were pretty good but i didnt like the ending. i mean c'mon wonka, you have to let the kids family come, like any family wuld give up their only son to a stranger.... all in all, great movie and id say that its about equal with the original because both had their pluses and minuses.
yea i finished harry potter and the half blood prince on sunday. if u want my thoughts on it (which i doubt you do but i'll put it here anyways.) click on this and scroll down almost to the bottom, obviously im JasonK. http://www.dgforums.net/index.php?showtopic=1498&st=25 while yer there, become a member! pm kevinw that jasonk referred you and i get money! woot!
only about a month and a week til skewl starts which i refuse to believe. sum people prefer illusion to despair. lol. but yea i got a job at the library. its pretty boring. mostly shelving and sorting, but hey, $7.65 an hour. not bad for a 15 year old. the bad part is that i'll probably only work like 10-20 hours a month. eh, it dont matter. cash is cash. thats all for now. maybe i'll type more later. probably not.

simpsons seasons 11-12

today was pretty good. went golfing at boughton ridge and then came home for lunch. went swimming later and then doing some krap on the computer. this is pretty random, but im glad that the simpsons (5 and 6 o clock) have kicked into sum season 11-12 hilarity. i was getting bored with season 10 episodes where they clearly were running out of ideas. they got a fresh start with 11-12 and sum of my favs are here. hopefully they'll pop up on the tube. (wait, i dont have a tube, i have an LCD tv.) hopefully they'll pop up on that liquid crystal display.
my myspace is really taking shape and i love it. awesome place. i recommend it to everyone. it has a blog on there that is a total ripoff of xanga, but it has so much more in addition to that. check out my myspace http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=21470136&Mytoken=20050715134955

on a different note, i got my dsl working perfectly. all the bugs are worked out so i am officially on high speed :D pretty soon my AOL membershipi will be over. then i am at sbc's mercy. i dont like yahoo, i wish i had comcast, but eh, what can ya do. i probably shuld be less greedy.

almost a birdie!!!

xanga was down yesterday (atleast when i signed on) so i didnt get a chance for any blogging then so lets today.
went golfing yesterday with andy, jim, and pat. i got two pars and i was sooooo close to getting a birdie. it was a par 4 hole and i had 2 spectacular shots that got it rite up on the green. all it took was one stinkin putt to get it in the hole. in short, i screw up, get really pissed off and end up with a 5 for the hole. grrrrrr.
my dsl kit arrived today and it will be activated tomorrow so i can use it then. im glad i finally convinced my parents to get sum form of high speed internet. now i just need to convince them to go wireless. theres sum great deals on www.newegg.com so maybe i can buy sum krap off there and show them how effin ez it is to do. today i did sum volunteering at the library and the librarian told me that i finally got a job there. yeah!!!!:) she said she wuld put up the requirements on the site on thursday and she wuld get back to me for an interview. awesomeness.
although, i dont intend to keep that job for a long time. once i turn 16, im applying for a job at best buy. awesome store. i'd work anywhere, but prefferably TVs or computers. i hope computers. summer is awesome.

end of year reflections

SEX!!!! Excellent, ive got your attention. Today was pretty boring so I decided to type up my thoughts and reflections about freshman year. Yea, I no its kinda late and I shuldnt even be thinking about dgs rite now, but who cares?

8th grade was a really great year for me. I ended that year on a great note, winning I dunno like 3 awards at graduation. Im rick james, bitch! Haha just had to throw that one in. I went to the mad dash and got in probably the krappiest group there was. I actually wanted to hear about the different clubs and stuff at south, but instead Kerry Holland and the other “leaders” decided to let us do w/e the hell we wanted. That ticked me off, but eh, I did meet eric stumpf in my group and that was pretty great. Hes a cool guy, and we had like 3 classes together this year. I also met esrom sumthin (I call him Epsom for no apparent reason.) and Kelly kubal which was awesome as well. Eh, at least I saw a bunch of people I didn’t see in a while.

I entered dgs on that note. Saw my classes. My geo class had the most people I knew in it. And I only knew like 2 people in ws. Then after a few weeks, I got to no the people at the skewl. I ran into chris delise who I haven’t seen since 6th grade, we used to golf at twin lakes golf course back then. Also, Kristen koziol and joey pescatore from my CCD class were in ws which was awesome. And so on and so on and so on.

so yea i made it through the year ok. i met loads of really cool new people. among them are bridget, erin, kristin, jill, kat, kyle, al, kevin, rob, dave, martin, and probably about 300 other names lol. i got through the first finals. i studied my butt off on those and i found out that dgs finals r jokes. y anyone studies for them i have no idea. the second time around i studied bio maybe 30 mins and geo maybe an hour or two. (hey i was borderline) and i finished up the year with straight As and a 4.4 gpa. hell yeah!

i went to homecoming and turnabout. very kool dances. like 100000000000000000x better than junior high. the music sucked at turnabout. i liked homecoming a lot better. there were twice as many freshman there as opposed to the meager amount at turnabout. anyhoo, they were both a lot of fun. i went stag both times ;) which was awesome. i probably danced with like 10 girls at homecoming and maybe 4-5ish at turnabout. yea very low by my standards. :(

the bio field trip was so effin great. probably the second best field trip ive ever been on. (nothing can top my MSI fourth grade trip) it was me, stumpf, akerman, and then two other guys and a chic whos names i cannot remember. yea, we sorta left our reports to do later so i had 20 mins to do that whole packet :D. ah good times.

ws class was probably the best class that i had my freshman year. i loved the diversity of it all. in the beginning, i knew three people. then at the end, i was best friends wtih like everyone. and those debates!! who can forget them? like the time i took on the entire class single handed. that was so friggin awesome. i usually was on the opposite side of the majority fo the class which suited me fine. i was always up against rameya which was great as well. altho, we needed more liberals in our class, i was bored just challing rameyas and ms brenner's views. maybe if akerman and heiteen were there it wuld be interesting. :D

i guess i'll wrap it up now. i'll talk more about this at a later date. i dunno, freshman year was ok i guess. i didnt get that much hw throughout the year. (i had spanish as my study hall) i met a LOT of new people. gotten a ton of new sns, cleared out old ones. i seriously doubt that anyone is still reading at this point. ah well. that's life.

Da Fourth II

happy late fourth of july people. the fireworks by my house were pretty kewl. if only i cut down maybe 4 trees they would be perfect. the guys across the way were shooting off roman candles which is always fun. wish i had sum :(
wow. 229 years of being one country. kinda makes ya think how much longer we're gonna last as a whole. my estimate is 50 years. maybe 75 IF we're lucky. hell yea, our lifetime. lookit bush now. two words. patriot act. it a nut shell, it basically nullifies the sections of the constitution that prevent unwanted search and seizure, no unlawful arrest, and some of the miranda rights. im not gonna go further cuz i no yer already bored to death reading this.
anyhoo i ordered my sbc dsl, but it wont work til July 12 cuz they cant activiate it before then. *sigh* ah well, i guess thats better than no dsl.

eh, nm happenin. just the usual crap of babysitting, computer work, volunteering, blah blah blah blah. the fireworks r great tho. haha, kyle, tell me what happened to yer ws binder. wish i culd see it. kevin already blew up his bio binder. a pic of it is on his blog which is currently offline. pretty awesome stuff.
i digress. anyhow, the fourths gonna be great. the fireworks display at zigfield troy is rite by my house so thats kool. if only i cut down a few trees it wuld be perfect.... hope everyones summer is going great, i know mine is. ttyl.
