schol bowl meet

yeah i should be working on that load, but blogging distracts me and while im typing, i cant be factoring polynomials so thats always good. my day today u ask? meh so-so. altho it was pretty funny. for english i had to hand in our groups notes which was a pile of papers i had. i accidentally turned in the notes and MY SPANISH HW that was due a few periods later. unfortunately, i didnt realize that this happened until spanish class. hehe yeah.
us history was hilarious. chochole's class has the most sexual jokes in it ever. EMBARGO IS OGRABME spelled backwards! hahahahahahaha those colonists were such perverts. and of course there was the story he read to us yesterday, the orangle splot in which mr weiderbean (or w/e the hell his name was) hadta repaint his house so he got busy in the night. yeah we all dirty minds.
schol bowl meet sucked. certain group members screwed around and added nothing to the team however. we lost both matches. ah well, we'll get em next time.

thanksgiving break

havent gotten much chance for blogging the past few days. wed, thurs, fri i was gone from 9-9 and sat i was gone from 8-4. (ok i culdve blogged sumtime tween 9 and 11:30 but i was lazy) i usually go to bed sumtime tween 11 and 12. i just cant function in the morning any later than that. any earlier and i just cant fall asleep so why try?
wed - half day (3/4s day more like it) went home then left at like 4 to see my cousins (ages 13 and 15) from the land of the rednecks. (lol u guys rock) and we all met at my grandma's house til like 9 and had pizza for supper. obbies pizza is the best pizza in the world cuz its a family owned joint. hell, my family kept it in biz all these years.
thurs - thanksgiving. meh, just another day. me and my cuzs went to the museum of science and industry. (ya know, the old guests in chicago hafta visit the museums kinda thing) it was ok i guess. we went to the coal mine which was awesome, but our tour guide talked really fast and wanted us out of there as quickly as possible. after that we went back to my grandmas house and had white castles for thanksgiving lunch. HELLS YEAH! white castle = awesome. a little while later we had a not so traditonal thanksgiving dinner. my cousin's (age 24) boyfriend came over and we were playing the wholesome annual family game of texas hold em. then i learned how to play euchre. the game that u HAVE TO know how to play if u live in indiana like he does.
fri - we went to da zoo (again part of the company thing) and freezed our asses off there. i wasnt so bad. i like the cold. however, the adults were so friggin cold that they forced us all to stop and rest like every 2 minutes. we were gonna see harry potter at the theaters cuz my cuzs never saw it, but the theater was all sold out. it sucked so we went back to my grandma's house and played an awesome card game called egyptian rat screw. my gosh, the best fuckin card game there is. it is so much fun and involves a lot of slapping. if anyone is interested in playin, let me know and after all, what game with screw in its name cant be good ;)
sat - my cousins left back to texas. it was so sad seeing them leave. my cousin (8) cried she was so sad. ah well, i still talk to u guys online so its not too bad. we went to haunted trails today and i hit the jackpot twice. 682 tickets from 20 tokens : P i probably shuldve spent it on sumthin stupid like 32 crunch bars. man that wuldve been awesome :D or i cudlve gotten some bling, but i cant really picture myself with sum bling round ma neck. i wish they had a pimp hat there. i culd use another one.... ah well.
today was pretty boring. i stayed home practically the whole day cuz i really didnt feel like goin out. i think im gettin a cold and besides i had a ton of krap to do here. (hw i left til the last minute and project krap) i went to church. and i hadta fix this stupid comp im using now. yeah fun stuff
skool tomorrow. work tomorrow. both suck.

THANKSGIVING BREAK!!!

HELLS YEAH! finally vacation. i must say that it came at the perffect time. i could feel myself just slipping and slipping and paying less and less attention in class. then my 99% in all my classes could slip to a 98%! *gasp* wahahaha um i only have a 99 in two classes, us history and chem. i have like a 93 or 94 in math and a 95 in spanish and i dunno my other grades. pffft skool is too ez.
moving on from my bragging. my cousins from texas (pronouced tay - has rite chochole?) which friggin rocks. my one cousin, 13, taught me how to play a kool game called Egyption Rat Screw. its just like egyptian war but with a cooler name. she is so fast and we played for like an hour. fun times. they're gonna be here til saturday so thats kool.
today was so effin simple. 100 point chem test = ez. health we started cpr and first aid. attendance aiding, chris wasnt there so i hadta do his floor. but still that was kool. id say first floor is my fave then second then third.
english we finsihed up the movie smoke signals. decent movie. could be better, but it could be much worse. i enjoyed it. the bad thing is taht we're havin a discussion bout it on MONDAY (my gosh no one is gonna remember anything) and plus its a mandatory graded discussion so that means i'll hafta fight to get a word in. (normally i dominate discussions when participation isnt required lol)
so er yeah my comp is all hooked up and it runs a bazillion times faster. but i wont bore u guys with the details about it. so in short
HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL!!!!

GoF part 2

Yep, saw it at the 11:00 show today at loews. and i want to start out by saying that this was the best movie yet. beats the brains out of cuaron's piece of krap. and it did much better than columbus' mediocre movies. kudos to Newell.
The Goblet of Fire was both phenomenal and a let-down. i think the special effects were pretty good. culd've been better, but they didnt distract from the actors that much so that was good. the trio did a stupendous job acting. emma watson = pretty damn hot (plus she has the exact same birthday as me, 4-15-90 :) and she was probably the only hot chick in that movie. well i know how many of u guys thought madam maxine was pretty sexy, lol. fluer delacour = um no. altho the ass shot was pretty good. they shuld've focused on that the entire film. i'd see it 50 times instead of my usual 20. jk on both those ;)
seriously tho. the plot line was ok at best. they cut out from 200-300 pages of the novel. characters of dursleys, winky, percy weasley, and sirius black (cept for the fire) were all cut out. i of course was disappointed by these, but hey, how much did the dursleys or percy add to the storyline? sirius i was angry about cuz sirius was one of my fav characters. (jo, how could you kill him off?)
one thing that i was very disappointed in was the shredding of jk rowling's central plot themes and her message. this entire novel showed how these two men, bartemius crouch jr. and tom marvolo riddle both had disappointing households altho they were opposites. riddle = no family, crouch = father who didnt care about him which is pretty much the same. we saw how senior chucked his only son to azkaban for life just to save his career and reputation. we see what this landed him. percy weasley was taking this route, and i think that it is important that percy study what happened to the crouches. ah but im just rambling on. in short, the segments with crouch senior and junior were most disappointing.
AND CROUCH WASNT IN THE ROOM WITH VOLDEMORT AND WORMTAIL! VOLDY AND WORMY CAME FOR HIM AT HIS HOUSE!
sorry hadta let that out. and all that suggestive dialogue! whoa. krum and hermione like it physical. and then hagrid and his slipping hand. and of course the ass shot. did i mention that? and ron made me chuckle. "I like it when they walk." and he said this to like 5 chicks and none of them said anythin to him or slapped hiim. now if i tried to say that to 5 chicks..... lol
in conclusion, i give GoF a 7/10 for adaptation of the book, a 8/10 for actor performances, and a 9.5/10 for overall movie feel. best one yet and im so gonna see it again.

GoF Part 1

yep, im goin to see it tomorrow. (i hadta wait years for this to happen, i can wait a few more hours lol.) probably sumtime in the morning.
didnt do that much today. comp krap. aim krap. babysittin my little cousins for like forever. if i hear the spongebob F.U.N. song one more time, heads are going to roll. i could probably do that entire effin song from memory.
this week? kinda strange. we had two early dismissals at 11:15 and yet it didnt feel like it. thursday and friday felt like monday and tuesday to me. yesterday just didnt seem like a friday. dunno y. yea i got my report card in the mail. straight Fs as all of u know, cuz im such an underachiever and damn proud of it.
erm, all As cept for two A-s. eh, i'll do better next time. 90% in english. borderline baby. i dunno how i pulled it off. no idea.
job at the library is paying off very nicely. im now rolling in da dead presidents so if any of u guys need money, just ask me. altho i should mention that i charge 300% interest. hmm i wonder what i'll blow all this stuff on. anyone know any good strip clubs?
lol

RIDE RIDE RIDE THAT PONY!

monday was a pretty interesting day. started out at 7:20 in the cafetorium. riding that pony and icebreakers. fun stuff :) the looks that we got from everyone around us were priceless. we were all laughing at them. after that i was pumped with snowball adrenaline (which all was gone after sitting and listening to stapleton talk on for 50 minutes in health) i had my fuchsia bandana tied around my leg until the attendance ladies said it was a gang symbol. how the hell is a fuchsia bandana around the lower part of your leg a gang symbol? man this is one messed up world.
the weird looks i got from people all day made me chuckle. (rite kyle? lol) kyle, u have the power to turn an ordinary word into something very dirty. it was pretty kool havin all the snowball people wearing their shirts and stuff. it was liek we were one big family, set apart from everyone else.
ah well, those days are over, but i'll never forget FUCHSIA FUCHSIA GO GO FUCHSIA! if any of u guys think your group was the best, i have news for you, TIS NOT! TIS FUCHSIA TWAS THE BEST!
movin on. today i was out of it. i didnt give a fuck what we did in skool. i half-payed attention in chem and with each progressing class i paid less attention in. that ending bell was so beautiful. =) but yea i hadta work today from 3-7 so that majorly cut into social time, eh 7.65 an hour is nuthin to sneeze at. im savin up for a car. which one shuld i get?

Fall Snowball '05

Fall Snowball 2005. one of the most amazing experiences of my life. everyone our age has got to go snowball and im gonna nag you people to come to the winter/next fall one. and trust me, it is not what the stereotypes say it is.
the bus ride there was pretty boring, but it really picked up when i got there. i was in group FUCHSIA. YEAH FUCHSIA RULES! just hadta add there for all the other people out there who think their group is the best. ha. and btw, real guys wear fuchsia.
our leaders were ashley and samantha, two pretty awesome girls. the teacher was mr wu (wugazer sp? lol) i called him mr w because i've inherited my dad's ability to screw up and butcher names very badly lol. other group members = greg go, austin, emily, nicole, katie, brianna, brittany, evelyn, jaqui, and i think thats it.
the workshops were so awesome. from stress management and sleeping to the trust sit. (we so got the best trust sit. 90 degrees rite on the money!) and of course the team-building activities, running through the jump rope and passing all those hula hoops through. 1 minute 14 seconds, boo yeah!
the guest speakers and the skits performed were really great. the aaim speakers really got through by showing the two sides of the alcoholic coin, the drunk driver victim and the drunk driver. although, a different drunk driver wuld've been better. they had the exception to the rule, the guy who only served 62 days in jail after he killed a woman while drunk. it wuld've been more effective if they brought in a guy who was in jail for years and years, but w/e it was still good.
ah, and who could forget the group dances? greg go was the best napoleon dynamite in that entire snowball place, hands down. he shuldve won. eh, it was still a blast. the food there was ok i guess. the best was day two lunch with the personal pizzas. and day one supper chidken/turkey/sum kind of poultry was just plain nasty. i mean, that gravy was sick, culdn't they have had soy sauce or sumthin? the breakfast was pretty good with the french toast and the chicken at day two dinner was pretty good.
my cabin was awesome with senor topor. he forced us to shut the lights off at 11:45, but we were still goin strong after that. as one guy put it, " i bet we're doing more socializing than the girls." definitely lol. i probably fell asleep sumtime after 12:30 and that was cuz i got up before 6.
i know im skipping around but who really cares lol. the night was pretty kool, altho there was strangely a lack of animals for a forest. once, i was walkin around the trails at like 11 and i saw someone in front of me. i was following them and it turned out to be my shadow :D haha yea it was hilarious. what really amazed me at the camp was the number of stars out. a group of us wen to the field past the cabins and were stargazing and there were a ton of stars out. i mean, i could actually see cignus the swan. the big dipper was pretty faint, but it was there.
and who could forgot ride RIDE RIDE RIDE THE PONY! and of course, Irish tag. i got 6 grass stains from that Irish tag game in the dark :) i rode the pony i believe 5 times, or was it 4? u kinda lose count lol.
the thing i liked most about snowball was the freedom you had. wake up whenever you want. do w/e u want. tons of free time, write a bunch of warm fuzzies. and who doesnt love getting a piece of brightly colored yarn?
some of the activities that we did were very sad and very moving. cross the line was the hardest activity by far that we ever did. you cannot understand unless you did it, but a kid passed out while crossing the line. it was that emotional. i'll leave it at that.
fuchsia skit was THE BEST DAMN SKIT THERE! "we lost our food, supplies, and everythign else on this plane. but i have great news! i just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to GEIKO! go GEIKO!" lol such good times. we did a parody of lost and our show was entitled "not so found" it was reminiscent of lord of the flies where a group of us crash-landed on an island inhabited by savages. "sharkbait ooo haha" "well i aint sayin shes a gold-digger" we had to include a bunch of quotes in there and those were sum of ours. we all did an awesome job.
and btw, if you think that yer too cool to do the chicken dance in front of 250 people, then i dont think that snowball is for you ;) altho we had our own version of it. i dont wanna be pink, i dont wanna be purple, i just wanna be fuchsia! *clap clap* heck yeah!
the bus ride home was pretty interesting lol. i sat with kyle and he fell asleep after like 10 mins. so instead me, arjun, tim, caitlin, and brittany were talkin. and of course show us how you shake your thing. yea. very good times.
in short, snowball is a great way to get to know yourself and those around you a little better. i recommend that all DGSers should go to snowball because it is an amazing experience that you are guaranteed never to forget. monday morning. 7:20. cafetorium. be there snowballers.
in other news, i cleaned out my buddy list for aim. finally got rid of a bunch of old sns and have room for new ones :) and happy 50th blog everyone! this'll be blog number 80 on my website, but myspace is cooler.

fall play

i went to see the fall play today and wow it was amazing. shout out to all the actors - u guys are truly awesome. i think you all did a great job of capturing your characters and the emotion in the lines was great. the set was very impressive. at least, i was impressed :) the plot was ok i guess. it was predictable lol. i knew from the start the bonds were in the bear, but still the play was a lot of fun. i recommend that anyone who didnt see it, travel back in time and go see it cuz it was awesome lol. rated 9 out of 10 stars. great job guys.

"community service"

i wasnt working today so i decided that today wuld be a good day to get rid of some of those stupid community service hours that chochole is forcing us to do. (the helping out isnt bad, i just wish that u culd've done them over the summer)
so yea it was me, chris, piatek, natalie, stepanie, katie, and sorry i dont know yer name other girl. plus a bunch of St. Joseph's students. one of the guy sporting a DGN hoodie. so of course i yelled at him NORTH SUCKS (eh sumthin along those lines when i saw him with no adults around) then that kid took out his camera phone, took a pic of me and put it as his default cell phone background. my gosh. is that queer or what?
but basically all we did was pick up trash. i shuld say most of us picked up trash *cough chris cough* i found three golf balls and i garbage picked some awesome bamboo-like rods. but yea it was pretty kool. we had huge piles of wooden stakes so we were ready if any of u vampires came near us. and then i found a bunch of chinese newspapers and a japanese tobacco wrapper lol. and naturally i found the remains of a bud light can. may it rest in pieces. haha.
wow. my profile has gotten 1001 views. (please dont laugh at me, i know u guys probably have 100x that amount) so er. HAPPY 1001 VIEWS EVERYBODY!
im still pissed off about thursday. i had to bring home my day of the dead altar from skool. some #%#$^^@##% of a person (use yer imagination ;) pulled my candles off of it and messed up my work that took me hours to do. so im like w/e, maybe it was an accident, i'll give ya the benefit of the doubt. i have my backpack with my shitload of books in there. dammit i get waaaaay too much hw. and my portfolio and htis HUGE altar thats gonna like fall apart any minute. only one person helps me and that was rameya. THANKS SO MUCH RAMEYA! after newspaper, i picked it up and was going down the stairs. now im really struggling to open the door and two janitors are standing there. instead of opening the damn door for me, the guy shouts out, "dont drop it!" laughs and walks away. WHAT THE FUCK? its ok if u dont want to help me but dont give me sum smartass comment you #%@$@%$#%. grrr. that pisses me off so much.

a life of crime

thats my career that i have chosen. im gonna go to harvard unniversity and study organized crime. get in with the mafia. kill em all off until im on top and then i'll finally be the God father.
hahaha im having too much fun with this. no, i was not serious. my theme for my poetry portfolio is an FBI crime folder. my poems and essays are all "evidence" that is going towards "my" conviction of many crimes among them are writing poetry structured after another poet's, choosing a poem by myself and writing about it, and writing an analytical essay. lol. yea my parents say its cute.
today was pretty good i guess. at lunch, i was telling jon about the dgforums podcast and arjun butts in and says whats a podcast? lol, that made me throw my arm up in the air and i said, how do u not know what a podcast is??!!?! and in doing so i knocked my entire drink over. :) hahahahahahaha. it was hilarious.
and so yesterday i was gonna blog, but i decided instead to debate kyle and stephanie about abortion. me and kevin vs kyle and steph. we so won. u guys put up a fight, but i expect better next time.
us history = bird flu bird flu bird flu. scares the shit out of me to think about so lets not and say we did.
talkin bout first ammendment rites in us history. i find it very interesting that the conservatives in the class are taking the liberal stance and vice versa. im especially surprised that rob chose the say anythin anywhere stance. a more liberal government would allow that. but it doesnt matter. everyone is enttitle to their own opiinion and im very biased when it comes to nazism. i dont want to get into why here.
english my grade is an 88%. i need an A o this poetry project to bring it up. wish me luck :)
